Welcome home. We are the Alumni Association of the Fulbright Program and have been serving the alumni since 1977. As a Newly Returned Fulbrighter, you are eligible for 1 free year of membership. Below are a variety of links and resources for you to get involved in the alumni community and use the resources of the Fulbright network to continue your career. Graduate Programs with Discounts for Fulbrighters

- The University of Arkansas – Clinton School of Public Service. Special Fall 2020 admission cycle.
- Tufts University – The Fletcher School. Extended application deadline and scholarships for September 2020 admission. Please reach out to FletcherAdmissions@Tufts.edu for more details.
- Indiana University Bloomington – The Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Summer/Fall 2020 application fee waivers and 50% reduction in tuition. Please reach out to oneillad@indiana.edu and indicate your U.S. Fulbright status for more details.
- Johns Hopkins University – Bloomberg School of Public Health MHS and MSPH Degree Programs. Re-opened application.

- University of Virginia – Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. Master of Public Policy Program extended application deadline. Please reach out to jchidester@virginia.edu for more details.
- Indiana University Bloomington – The Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies. U.S. Fulbrighters receive an application fee waiver and 50% tuition reduction for Master’s degree programs. - Georgetown University- School of Foreign Service, Asian Studies Program. Graduate study. Please reach out to asianstudies@georgetown.edu for more information.
- University of Michigan – Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy opening a second, short round of graduate admissions for students looking to start school in Fall 2020. The application will be available from May 1 to June 1, 2020. The GRE is not required for this special application, but candidates must be able to demonstrate quantitative and written communication skills from past professional and academic experiences.
Noncompetitive Eligibility for Federal Employment
Yes, Fulbrighters are Noncompetitive Eligible for Federal Employment
Under Executive Order 13750, exchange program alumni who successfully complete the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program, or Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program are eligible for 12 months of noncompetitive eligibility (NCE) hiring status within the federal government, with the possibility of extensions if certain criteria are met.
