Attendees are encouraged to fly into the Washington National (Ronald Reagan) Airport, code DCA. The conference venue is very near this airport, and shuttle transportation is available from the hotel to the airport.
Please note that the Greater Washington, DC area has three airports. The other two airports include Dulles International Airport in Virginia, and Baltimore Airport. While it is possible to fly into these airports, the commute into the Washington, DC area may take around an hour and include additional bus or train costs.
ARRIVING BY METRO:
The Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel is accessible via the Blue or Yellow Line, and the nearest metro station is Crystal City Station, which is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. To avoid the walk, one can take the Metroway Bus from the station’s nearby Braddock Road Station for three stops and disembark at the Crystal City Transitway + 27th St bus stop, which is just down the block from the hotel.
The venue will also have a shuttle going to and from the metro station.
ARRIVING BY CAR:
It is possible to drive to the hotel, but please note that parking at or nearby the hotel may incur a fee. Attendees who plan to stay at the hotel should inquire about parking passes when making their reservations.
It takes about 15 minutes by car to get to the conference venue from the Capitol Hill area.

Do I have to stay in the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel hotel?
You are welcome to stay wherever is most convenient for you. We encourage hotel participants to look at booking at the hotel for your own convenience, as well as to access our discounted room block. However, there are many nearby hotels in Arlington and Washington, DC.
How far from Washington, DC is the hotel?
You are able to get into Washington, DC in under twenty minutes by local metro or by car, depending on traffic. Arlington is considered part of the “Greater Washington, DC area” and the two cities are only separated by the Potomac River. It is very convenient to get to the National Mall area by taking either the Blue or Yellow line from the Crystal City metro station.
