Connecting Hearts and Minds for Global Change

The schedule for the Fulbright Association’s 42nd annual conference explores public diplomacy, showcases the research, work, and talents of Fulbright alumni and friends of international education, and mobilizes the Fulbright community through an Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. Conference events will take place from October 24 to 26, with post-conference workshops taking place on Sunday, October 27.

Schedule At A Glance

Thursday, October 24

  • Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. Begins with breakfast briefing at 8:30 am then followed by scheduled visits all day.
  • Opening Reception (5:00 - 7:30pm) hosted by Marymount University and co-sponsored by the Hungarian Fulbright Commission and the American Hungarian Heritage House. The reception will take place at Marymount University's Ballston Campus (1000 North Glebe Road).
  • Fulbright Documentary (7:30 - 8:45 pm) ARMED WITH FAITH https://www.armedwithfaithfilm.com  by Emmy award winning Pakistani Fulbright alumna, Haya Fatima Iqbal (Marymount University Ballston Campus). This program is co-sponsored by the United States Education Foundation of Pakistan (USEFP).
