Dr. Nohema Fernandez has been a trusted teacher, mentor, and friend for three decades. She has inspired me to think broadly about the world of music and I doubt I would have pursued a Fulbright Award if I had not known her. I am truly fortunate to have chosen the path of music and found such a worthy mentor.
