Fiona Breslin - Assistant Director for Membership and Administration

Fiona first joined the Fulbright community in 2019 as a Government Affairs intern, drawn to the organization’s mission of international exchange and civic engagement. She has since served in several roles and currently works as Assistant Director for Membership and Administration. In this role, she works closely with a network of over 50 local chapters to build stronger communities, improve engagement structures, and ensure chapters have the tools and support needed to serve Fulbrighters and alumni at the local level. She also leads advocacy efforts that connect Fulbright alumni voices to broader policy and public engagement priorities, including efforts to protect funding for the Fulbright Program. Together, her work in chapters and advocacy supports a diverse and growing individual membership base.

Fiona graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a Bachelor’s degree in International Politics, concentrating in Foreign Policy Processes and minoring in French. Based in New York City, she is a language enthusiast, an avid supporter of the arts, and a frequent traveler. As a first-generation American, she brings a deep appreciation for the value of cross-cultural exchange and is committed to strengthening the networks that sustain it through Fulbright.
