We kindly write to remind you that the Spain Interest Group is calling for applications! The Fulbright Program sent a call for nominations last week that provides details on how to apply. To learn more about the Spain Interest Group, we encourage you to attend our Informational Webinar on Wednesday, April 24 at 5:30-6:15 PM Pacific Time.
Who are the Board Members?
Spain Interest Group Board Members are Fulbright Spain alumni living in the US and around the world who seek to remain connected with the Fulbright Spanish Community.
What do Board Members do?
Board of Directors meet monthly to welcome ideas for events and opportunities that support the Spain Fulbright community, current grantees, and prospective applicants.
What are the time commitments?
Board Members should expect to spend approximately 3-5 hours per month on Spain Interest Group activities, most all of which are virtual. Spain Interest Group events and opportunities include webinars, presentations, and other special events. Board Members are expected to attend a 1-hour monthly meeting with the Spain Interest Group team, and are strongly encouraged to attend Chapter and Interest Group Meetings held by the Fulbright Association. Board Member term-limits vary by role, and range from 2-3 years.
Who is eligible?
Applicants must have completed their Spain Fulbright grant program, and register to be a part of the Fulbright Association.
