Dear Fulbrighters:

Please see the attached poster for details and then RSVP to join us for:

WHAT: Tour of the Minnesota State Capitol, Ukraine Day ceremony, prestigious display of the Fulbright “Ukraine: War and Resistance” photo exhibit in the Capitol’s North Corridor — and an optional tour of the nearby Minnesota History Center.

WHEN: 10:15 a.m. to noon (with a longer option), Saturday, Feb. 24

WHERE: Gather in the majestic center Rotunda (pictured here), by entering on the first floor of the Capitol’s south side (opposite the light rail station on the north side), 75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., St. Paul. (Note that the Capitol does not open until 10 a.m. on Saturdays – but also note that parking is free on Saturdays at meters on the streets and public surface lots surrounding the Capitol!)

WHY: To learn about the historic and governmental people, places and processes of Minnesota – and mark the second anniversary of Ukraine’s resistance to the full-scale Russian invasion

WHO: You! – please RSVP by Feb. 12 to event coordinator Sally Gregory Kohlstedt at sgk@umn.edu for this free event, paid for by the generous grant we won from the Fulbright Association national office and U.S. State Department in Washington
