Greetings fellow Fulbrighters and friends of the Fulbright program!
On behalf of the Hawaii chapter of the Fulbright Association, I would like to invite you to a welcome reception for Fulbrighters, to be held Sunday, October 29, from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the John Young Museum of Art (on the UH-Manoa campus). It’s a chance to meet other Fulbright scholars, students, and alumni, and friends of the Fulbright program, and also learn about the curated exhibit: “Jean Charlot as Critic: Art in Hawaii, 1950-1970.”
For Fall 2023, we are welcoming new visiting Fulbright Scholars from Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Germany, New Zealand, Poland, and South Korea, and new Fulbright graduate students from Germany, Indonesia, and Russia.
This in-person event promises to be an unforgettable experience as we gather together in the vibrant atmosphere of the museum, enjoy delicious refreshments and engage in stimulating conversations. The reception is the perfect opportunity to connect with others who share your passion for international education and cultural understanding around the world.

Introductions, welcome of visiting Fulbrighters and remarks about the exhibit will start at 3:00pm.
