Dear Fulbrighters:
Please see the attached poster and RSVP soon to join us for the first of many great events we have planned for this winter and spring:
WHAT: Tour of the Minnesota State Capitol and Minnesota History Center
WHEN: 10 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4
WHERE: Gather in the main foyer on the first floor of the Capitol’s south side (opposite the light rail station on the north side), 75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., St. Paul; after our Capitol tour, we will walk or ride to the History Center
WHY: To gape at the second-largest self-supported marble dome in the world (move over Taj Mahal and U.S. Capitol!) and one of the U.S.’s largest history centers, learning about the historic and governmental people, places and processes of Minnesota
WHO: You! – please RSVP by Jan. 27 to event coordinator Sally Gregory Kohlstedt at sgk@umn.edu
