Arizona Chapter’s Field Trip to the Heard Museum in Phoenix

The Arizona Chapter of the Fulbright Association plans a field trip to the Heard Museum in Phoenix (see:  https://heard.org/ ) on April 22, 2023.  Meet your fellow Fulbrighters while enjoying a world class museum focused on American Indian Art.

The Heard Museum, established in 1929, and its mission is to be the world’s preeminent museum for the presentation, interpretation, and advancement of American Indian Art, emphasizing its intersection with broader artistic and cultural themes.

The grant from the Department of State can pay the admission for those Fulbrighters who wish to attend.  Please note that this field trip is limited to 30 persons (first come, first served), and we can ONLY include Fulbrighters (i.e., no family members, friends, etc).

The Museum has a café and a coffee bar where attendees can purchase lunch.  The Museum prohibits flash photography. Backpacks and bags larger than 17” x 13” are prohibited as are water bottles, open containers, and food.  Free lockers are available for storage of these items.
