Eric Lopez

Board Member

Eric has had a career in research and advocacy that spans nearly two decades where he has worked closely with community members, nonprofits, and corporations to highlight systemic inequities and champion solutions, access to resources, and opportunities.

Eric is currently the Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Governance, Programs & Enterprise Priorities at Comcast where he works with critical stakeholders to lead efforts around DEI-related issues, enterprise engagement, and strategic priorities in furtherance of Comcast NBCUniversal Telemundo’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all spaces. Prior to joining Comcast, Eric was the Vice President of Coqual, a Managing Analyst at Penta, and the Director of Corporate Accountability at the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) leading the organization’s Research Institute and its flagship project, the HACR Corporate Inclusion Index. Eric is also the Founder and Principal at GlobeServe Consulting.

Eric received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Hofstra University in New York. He is also a recipient of a Fulbright research grant to Hungary which was awarded to him in 2008. Eric’s Fulbright focused on the discrimination of the Roma in public education institutions, the Decade of Roma Inclusion outcomes in Hungary, and parallels that could be drawn between the discrimination of the Roma and post Brown v. Board of Ed. educational policy in the U.S.
