Heather Godsmark

Heather Godsmark was most recently with Egon Zehnder, where she drew on her extensive experience in infrastructure, energy, and other real asset industries to advise clients on their most pressing leadership challenges.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Heather was the Global Chief Business Operations Officer for Dentons. Before that, she spent 17 years with KPMG, most recently as Chief of Staff for the U.S. Chairman and CEO and Global Chairman. Prior roles at KPMG include Chief Operating Officer for the Global Climate Change and Sustainability practice and a Director in the Global Infrastructure practice.

Heather holds an executive MBA from ENPC, an International Business Certificate from the University of Edinburgh, and a BBA from the University of Miami. In 2008, Heather co-founded the Women’s Infrastructure Network to attract, develop, and retain women in the real asset sector and help shape the infrastructure agenda. She serves on the Boards of BUILD MetroDC and is a member of Leadership Greater Washington and the American Council on Germany. Heather was named a Washington Business Journal Woman Who Means Business in 2019. She and her husband live in Maryland with their two children.

Heather was a Fulbrighter in Frankfurt, Germany from 2000-2001.
