Munir Sayegh

Director for Communications and Data

As an Associate Director for the Fulbright Association, Munir manages a range of projects related to supporting and improving the Fulbright Association’s network of Fulbrighters and promoting the value and reach of the Fulbright Program by enabling alumni engagement and advocacy. His work has centered around the Census project and communicating with current and prospective members of the Fulbright Association. Munir additionally has been a long-time volunteer and contributor to the work and mission of Fulbright, including collaborating with the Fulbright Association to coordinate four TEDxFulbright events and working as a volunteer Fulbright Alumni Ambassador with the Institute of International Education, where he represented Fulbright in several capacities, including both online and on Capitol Hill. Munir earned his master’s degree in Economics at Purdue University. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Graphic Design from St. Ambrose University, where he studied abroad at Al Akhawayn University in Morocco. He embarked on a Fulbright Program to Egypt in 2011, where he researched Arabic calligraphy and typography in Cairo. He has worked previously in international admissions, and is an accomplished photographer and graphic designer.
