The Fulbright Association is the official U.S. alumni association for the Fulbright Program. We represent 140,000 alumni across 50 chapters nationwide, with over 200 U.S. college and university members and access to 70 international Fulbright commissions and alumni groups.

We recognize the tremendous impact of the Fulbright Program on the U.S. higher education system. The program provides life-changing opportunities to students and faculty, bolsters local economies, and is a vital part of international strategy at the institutional level for top colleges and universities.

The higher education community is most powerful when these institutions join together to pursue our shared goals at the national level. We invite leading higher education institutions to  join our member network of over 300 U.S. colleges and universities in presenting a strong, unified voice in advocating for the Fulbright Program on Capitol Hill. Our members benefit from unparalleled access to a vibrant peer network and a vast collection of resources, and gain national visibility through their affiliation with our well-connected Fulbright community.

There is a $1,000 annual fee associated with institutional membership. We invite Minority-Serving Institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and community colleges to join our network, and representatives from these institutions should contact us at To join or renew institutional membership, visit the links below, and for more information, contact us at 202-775-0725.
