Back by popular demand, the Fulbright Association announces its next Fulbright Alumni Insight Tour to Cuba this January. Experience the “real Cuba” – no billboards, limited Internet and few cars newer than 1950s-vintage – before this island nation is flooded by a sea of cultural and economic change during this pivotal time in U.S. and Cuba relations. Join us for this people-to-people tour where you’ll travel with alumni on this incredible trip to Cuba to explore the sights and experience the people, culture and history.
Experience Cuba’s Visual Arts, Literature, Music & Dance
You’ll gain amazing insights into the cultural history of this multifaceted island through the lens of the arts and enjoy this memorable trip with alumni. You’ll experience the crafts and galleries in fabulous Havana Vieja and the architectural and colorful arts of the colonial city of Trinidad. Then, you’ll set off into the rural parts of the country with a visit to the town of Santa Clara where Che Guevara won an decisive battle. Finally, immerse yourself in Santiago de Cuba where Santeria practioners, the vibrant Afro-Cuban community and rhythm music shape the culture. VIEW COSTS >
