Conor Murphy joined the Fulbright Association as the Membership and Engagement Fellow in the summer of 2025. Conor is a graduate student at the University of San Diego, where he is pursuing a Master’s in International Relations with a focus on U.S. foreign policy and transatlantic affairs. At the Fulbright Association, he supports the Membership, Chapters, and Administration Departments by helping maintain member databases, coordinating engagement campaigns, and assisting with event planning and communications. Conor worked in the San Diego Mayor’s Office, where he contributed to public policy research and community outreach efforts. He also interned with the Democratic National Committee’s Party Affairs and Delegate Selection team and supported political science research at UC San Diego. In his free time, Conor enjoys exploring policy issues, traveling internationally as a competitive Irish Dancer, and finding new ways to stay connected to civic engagement and international affairs.
