What is your favorite part about working at the Fulbright Association?

Working at the Fulbright Association has opened my eyes to the passion all Fulbright alumni have for the mission. I personally manage the Fulbright alumni chapters and seeing the dedication the leaders have for building community and welcome visiting Fulbrighters is inspiring. Our community could not exist without our volunteers.

Why is Fulbright Association’s mission important to you?

The mission is important to me because of its global impact. International understanding has to start in our local communities. We can’t have peace internationally unless a grassroots empathy for others is established.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Outside of my role at FA, I am an actress! I grew up acting on stage and made the transition to film about two years ago. I am currently pursuing my film career in Atlanta, which has been dubbed the “Hollywood of the South.” Acting was my first love, and I am grateful that I have been able to pursue my passion alongside my role at FA.

What is the most memorable experience you had at the Fulbright Association?

The most memorable experience I had at the Fulbright Association was hosting the Chapter Awards Ceremony at the 2022 Annual Conference. It was wonderful to honor the hard work of chapter leaders and get to celebrate with them in person.
