Cara Grayer
Cara Grayer - Incoming Board Member
Cara Grayer is an attorney at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Her practice area includes telecommunications, regulatory, and international law. In 2006-2007, Cara served as a Fulbright Scholar to Buenos Aires, Argentina. She researched telecommunication policy issues and lectured a comparative international law course at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. For many years, Cara has also lectured international L.L.M students in the International Legal Studies Program as an adjunct professor at the American University Washington College of Law. Cara is also active Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
In addition to her passion for teaching and practicing law, Cara has a sincere interest in international affairs, arts, and education. She is a former Term Member of the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR). She is also a former Board Member for the Duke Ellington School for the Arts and The River School, both in Washington, DC. Cara continues to serve on the Corporation Board for the Winsor School, where she attended.
Cara graduated from Spelman College with a B.A. in English and Spanish. She received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and M.A. in International Affairs from American University School of International Service (SIS). Cara resides in Washington DC.
