Howard Kwon

Howard Kwon - Governance & Nomination Committee Chair

Howard A. Kwon is an accomplished attorney, board member, and author with over 30 years of legal and leadership experience in government, private practice, and corporate roles. Based in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area, he currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Law School Foundation at William & Mary Law School and on the National Board of Directors for the Fulbright Association, contributing to investment, finance, and governance committees.

Howard has held significant positions such as Managing Director at Stable-1 Project LLC, Senior Counsel at Adient, and General Counsel at Xevo Inc., reflecting his interest in the intersection of law, technology, and education across start-ups, growth-stage companies, and Fortune 300 corporations.

He holds a Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School, where he received the George E. Hutchinson Writing Competition Award, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

An active community member, Howard established the Kwon Family Scholarship to support outstanding students pursuing graduate degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and serves as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and Catechist at St. Ambrose Church. He is also the author of “PROVENANCE” (2012), a novel exploring the extraordinary journey of a painting over three centuries and two continents.
