Abigail Swanson joined the Fulbright team in the winter of 2024, and after taking the summer off we are happy to share that she is returning with us this fall. Abigail is a senior at American University, where she focuses on international development, public health, and religion. At the Fulbright Association, she primarily works in fundraising and development, learning the innerworkings of non-profit work. She also dabbles in supporting our events team, supporting the association’s work on the Fulbright Prize and the annual conference. In the past, Abigail has worked as a congressional intern where she supported daily office tasks and as a communications intern for a maternal health program. In her free time, Abigail enjoys traveling, reading, and completing jigsaw puzzles with friends and family.
