Full Circle – Jaime Palter – Costa Rica 2000

I learned so much about myself, my host country, and the biggest estuary in Costa Rica during my Fulbright experience 20 years ago. Every day at Costa Rica stretched me intellectually. Today, a Fulbright student from Indonesia studies oceanography with me here in the US. The potential for science to unite us across cultures and geographies in the pursuit of understanding how the world works, is just as powerful as the knowledge it produces.
