Sofía joined the Fulbright Association team as the 2023 Summer Development and Fundraising Intern. She recently graduated from her bachelor’s degree in International Affairs at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. As part of her eagerness to expand her understanding of other cultures and peoples, she completed two international exchanges at Georgetown University in the United States and Sciences Po Lyon in France, pursuing diplomas both in International Security and French and European Studies, respectively.

Having lived in five different countries, Sofía’s international background and first-hand experience with other languages, cultures and educational environments ties up with Fulbright’s sense of furthering mutual understanding, the exchange of ideas and diversity, and she is excited to continue with her work at Fulbright.
