This Brazilian woman is a Priestess to Yemanja within the Candomble
religion. Yemanja is the Orixa who serves the ocean and lakes. She represents womanhood and
fertility, and is comparable to Mary in the Catholic Religion. Her colors are white and blue and
she is represented by her flower the white rose and crystal beads. This priestess is wading into
the water to collect it into her gourd for blessings.
