Lisa joined the Fulbright team in 2019 as the Program Coordinator to organize Fulbright Association events, liaise with national chapter organizations, and promote the Fulbright membership network. Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in International Development from American University’s School of International Service with a concentration in Education, Culture, and Politics. Previously, Lisa worked as a high school Spanish teacher in Alabama and served as the Executive Director for a summer enrichment program for high-achieving students. Lisa’s connection with Fulbright dates back to 2016, when she served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Lima, Peru. She earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish and Speech Pathology from The University of Alabama. Lisa is passionate about education, cultural exchange, and community development, and she brings these values with her to the Fulbright Association.
