Do you have some questions you wish you could ask experts about the upcoming US elections?
For example, what is the “Electoral College” and what role does it play in selecting the next US
president? How is the way that elections are conducted in the US similar to (or different from) your
home nation?
The Minnesota Fulbright Chapter is holding a Zoom session on Tuesday, October
27, from 7:30-8:30 pm, CST to help Fulbright grantees from around the world
understand the November US elections.
Former Fulbright Scholars Liz Lightfoot and Kevin Brondum will
provide a brief introduction to the way in which the US conducts elections at the local, state,
and national levels. They will then respond to your questions, comments, and observations.
Please join us! This event is hosted by the MN Fulbright Chapter, and all grantees and alumni
are invited to participate.
Contact Jim Oberly (joberly@uwec.edu) or (612-481-5628) to RSVP
by Friday, October 23. He will send you a Zoom invitation with log-in information.
There is no charge to participate in this event.
