As a service to our vibrant Fulbright community and in keeping with the Fulbright mission of peace and understanding among diverse cultures, Kansas City Chapter broadcasts the life-changing stories of Kansas and Missouri alumni to a community of internationally engaged individuals via its Fulbright Forums.
Khrystyna Petriv is a 2021-22 Foreign Language Teaching Assistant of Ukrainian language to the U.S. Petriv is the author of more than 20 scientific articles. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, ethnolinguistics, and psycholinguistics. She will share her Fulbright teaching experience and new approaches she has learned during her award period.
Nelly Shulman is a 2019-20 Literary Artist grantee from Russia to the United States where she researched and worked on a novel for publication. Shulman is the author of five Russian novels and a book of short stories. She will share her Fulbright experience of researching, using an American university’s library resources, and writing her novel-in-progress.
