International Day of Education

January 25, 2021

9:30am CST

Under the theme “Recover and Revitalize Education for the COVID-19 Generation,” International Day of Education 2021 will highlight the collaboration and international solidarity needed to place education and lifelong learning at the center of the pandemic recovery.

To mark this important day, join Global Minnesota for a free virtual symposium that will tackle urgent questions about how to design the future of learning in a world impacted by COVID-19, climate disruption, and more.

Beginning at 9:30 am CST, global leaders from UNESCO and Education International will kick off the day, followed by workshops and panel discussions from frontline professionals who are creating the future of learning. Sessions will include presentations on the current state of international students; creative business support for education; and education for inclusion, equity, and cohesion.
