Happy New Year 2024! On behalf of the Fulbright Association and the Fulbright Association – Greater Los Angeles Chapter, we would like to cordially invite you to attend our first event of the new year.
Pleas join us for a unique afternoon at the Huntington Library on January 20, 2024. Mr. Steve Tabor (Curator of Rare Books at the Huntington) and Dr. Aaron J Kleist (Professor of English at Biola University) will provide an introduction to rare materials from the library as well as a hands-on editing challenge using Romeo and Juliet, before offering free access to the gardens themselves. Event schedule is as follows:
12:45pm | Guests arrive and gather in Entry Grove
1:00–2:00pm | Program and Talk in the Botanical Auditorium
2:00–3:00pm | Light Refreshments
3:00–5:00pm | Guests invited to walk the Huntington grounds
Due to space constraints in the Botanical Auditorium, participation is capped at 60 attendees. Please RSVP only if your attendance is certain. We kindly request mindfulness in this regard, as no-shows can prevent others from participating in this limited-capacity event. Your consideration is greatly appreciated.
