For 15+ years, Alison Gardy has created pioneering educational programming for local, national, and global leaders; grown and inter-connected diverse communities; and nurtured thriving partnerships with prominent nonprofit and business leaders. A multilingual, senior program director, collaboration-builder and relationship-builder, Alison’s passion is to help individuals and worthy causes grow stronger and increase their impact. Until recently, Alison was Director of International Relations at 92nd Street Y, where she launched, led and executed original programs such as the Ford Motor Company International Fellowship, the Diplomatic Roundtable Series, and International Way of the annual 92Y StreetFest. Previously, Alison taught writing at New York University; reported for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and other publications; and, on a Fulbright creative independent study grant, investigated social change in Mexico. Alison led the Greater New York Chapter of the Fulbright Association (2000-2002), served as a Fulbright Association Board Director (2000-2006), and is thrilled to be back on the Fulbright Association board a decade later.
