Alicia Montague

Director for National Events

Alicia joined the Fulbright Association team in 2021 to develop and implement events that engage and educate Fulbright alumni and promote global and cultural appreciation. She has over 12 years of experience executing events in higher education, most recently as the assistant director of meetings & events at NASPA, the primary association for the advancement of the student affairs profession. Prior to that, she organized events and programs for the career development office at The University of Maryland, College Park and at The Johns Hopkins University, Carey Business School.

Alicia holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She is also a Digital Events Specialist, certified through the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).

Alicia understands the importance and value of international educational exchanges and cross-cultural engagement and is excited to further a community that helps to connect alumni and friends of the Fulbright program and magnify their journey of learning and understanding.
