Advocacy Days

Advocacy Days are full-day campaigns to educate members of Congress on the Fulbright Program and its impact. Since 2015, the Fulbright Association has coordinated Fulbright alumni gathering on Capitol Hill and meeting with members of the House and Senate to share their international experiences and urge support for continued funding of the program. Participants in Advocacy Days are trained in our messaging and approach, and the resources compiled here are part of our training program.

In 2021, we will celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Program by advocating throughout the month of April. We will do this remotely, targeting members of the House and Senate Appropriations committees. We will be inviting Association members to participate by reaching out to those living districts and states represented by Appropriations members.
