2019 Conference Logo Design Competition

Calling all designers! The Fulbright Association is hosting a logo competition for its 2019 annual conference, and invites submissions of compelling logos that visually represent our conference theme: “Connecting Minds and Hearts for Global Change.” This theme recalls a famous quote from Senator J. William Fulbright:

[cv_notification type=”neutral” text=”Our future is not in the stars but in our own minds and hearts. Creative leadership and liberal education, which in fact go together, are the first requirements for a hopeful future for humankind.” icon_source=”none” icon=”mail-1″]

Competitive logo designs will encapsulate the conference theme and incorporate design elements relevant to the mission of the Fulbright Program.

This is a pro bono opportunity to expand your portfolio and elevate visibility for the work of the Fulbright Association. The winner will receive special recognition in our conference publications, channels, and in conference materials as the logo creator as well as a free conference registration. If unable to attend the conference, the winner will receive a $200 gift card. Submissions are due by May 15, 2019.

Guidelines for logo submissions are as follows:

The winner of last year’s logo competition was Holly Wheeler, whose papel picado-inspired design incorporated last year’s conference theme of “Un Mundo, Muchas Voces (One World, Many Voices)” as well as celebrated the conference’s location in Puebla, Mexico. Our 2019 conference will be held in the greater Washington, DC area from October 24 to 26.
